Dont get near an elk or moose momma w/ young. A few steps and they cover lots of territory.

Kinda funny to see the "dont feed the animals cause they become dependant" from the US Park Service. Then noticing that the USDA and president are feeding thousands w/ food stamps-most are dependant.

Dumbest thing we have come across but did not witness in action was the previous camper in the site had been using treated lumber for a camp fire and cooking. Hamburger fragments still stuck to the grill and green treated wood left in and by the fire ring.

Texas Sun Smoores
1.Place Graham crackers on tin plate.
2.Cut marshmallows in half, place on crackers with chocolate and second cracker.
3.Set on tow vehicle dash with windows rolled up.
4.Remove when you see them oozing.
5.Enjoy
(Green since they use solar energy.)

Many, many people don't know about that. Including using stained/painted wood for fires. People may see someone using untreated pine lumber scraps for firewood, and just assume that all lumber is okay to use. I do my best to warn people about that.
