We purchased a used 5th wheel, everytime we turn around there is something else wrong with it. Anyway we finally took the awnig down. It came down fine, everything was ok. When my Husband put it up, there is not to much spring to it. Is there any way to fix this?
Thank you, Eva

Pull it out, pin it so it won't turn, remove it from the arms and roll it up by hand.

The spring may need to be adjusted. Be careful, this can be dangerous to do - definitely a two person job.

Go to mfg. website and look at instructions for 'roller tube spring adjustment'

Typically 12-14 turns...two person job so you won't get whacked. Lots of stored energy when tightening those springs......if they aren't broke.

if you are asking us about this problem then I seriously don't think you should be trying to adjust the tension of the spring on an awning. It is very dangerous and personally I think you should take it into a shop and have a RV tech do it for you.
