I'm continuing the thought process and this leak prevention project and in my Google research of various old forum posts I've noticed that some have first put Dicor and then Eternabond over. Sounds like that might been a very good plan. Has anyone done that?
If you've applied Eternabond, what have you found to be the best product to clean the surface with?
THANKS!!!!

Dicor is for short term leak protection and Eternabond is for life time leak protection if that helps.

I just covered the existing dicor with Eternabond on my last rig, and will be doing the same to our new TT shortly. As for a cleaner, I bought a can or two of the EternaCleaner sold by the same company that makes the Eternabond. The cleaning (prep work) is the key to ensuring that the Eternabond fully adheres to the roof.

Good information from Gale and Brad...I had read at several other points individuals who had trouble with application until they bought the EternaCleaner...

Acetone is what Eternabond site recommended when I did it.

I used Acetone and it worked well. I cleaned all the old caulking off as well prior to applying the tape.

And make sure you use a little seam roller to roll the tape to activate the adhesive. Read the directions for eternabond about this process, Do not skip the rolling, if you do the tape might/will fail.

So many miss the fact that Enternabond does not stick like tape. Well it does stick like tape BUT that part does not give a water proof bond and it will come over time.

I used acetone, worked like a champ. Went over it once then changed to clean rag and went over again, Applied eternabond and rolled with weighted roller. No more leaks.

I washed the area with Scrubbing Bubbles then cleaned it with acetone before I applied Eternabond.
