For the week of July 9, Sarah and I are looking for a campground to kick back for 3 or 4 days. We would like water so that we can let the dogs swim.

By that time, we will have been on the road for 6 weeks, competing in agility trials on the weekends and seeing the sites during the week.

On Sunday, July 8, we will finish a trial in Belgrade and would like to find a place at a reasonable driving distances from there.

We travel in a 38' class A, pulling a car. Would like to have at least 30-amp electricity. We'll be dry camping over the weekend, so we'll have to dump and get some water.

Suggestions would be much appreciated.

(We'll be traveling for 7 hours today, so I won't see this thread until this evening.)

Thanks,
Tom

I would avoid the lakes on the Missouri, between Bozeman and Great Falls. I really don't like them. I also don't like Ennis Lake.
Actually most of the nice lakes are in western Montana, vrs central or eastern.
Most of the lakes I really like are over in the Swan and Seale (sp) Valleys in the North western part of the state. Unfortunately most of them are also dry/no-hook-ups. Although there are dump stations..

When someone tells you to buy the same rig they own, listen, they might be right. When they tell you to buy a different rig then they own, really pay attention, they probably know something you don't.
