Hi,
we are going for a summer trip in the TT and expect to be in areas of high mosquito and bugs.(We're off to Glacier national Park, I'll be sending a separate question on what do do and see! )
We have a couple of the pop up instant shades 10 x 10 that we use for sitting outside and placing over the table etc.
Problem is that they do not have bug screens!
Has anyone any innovative ideas on how to retro fit these shades with a bug screen?
If you can also include where you got the materials to do the job in your suggestions then that would be great!
Many Thanks,
Steve

You can buy the bug screen enclosure at most camping stores - I've even seen them in Walmart......10' panels are common - we have a 12 x 12 pop-up and I can't find the panels for them at all!!!!

This will not answer your question on how to install screens to your existing canopy, but a thought could be to purchase a "table tent". We purchased ours from Costco for around $45, and it is nicely packed away until we need it.

I know Coleman has a screen kit for theirs. I have one and it works well enough.

I bought a generic screen "kit" for a 10x10 off of Amazon a couple years back for under $50.00.

We got ours at Dicks Sporting goods It connects with metal hooks and velcro straps. Hooks are in the corners and on two sides w the zippers.

Found this at walmart. Looks like it might work. We have this that we bought on sale last year.

Poppy & Nana: I also have a 12x12 that I couldn't find screens for! Very disappointing!
