Anybody use this bolt-on alignment kit? Any comments and feedback appreciated. I don't have an alignment issue that I'm aware of, but I do need the 2" of lift that it provides.

I don't understand how it can work if it only moves the outside hangers and not the equalizer..?

Adjusting the static hangers fore/aft adjusts the squareness of the axle to the frame. The spring floats on the equalizer anyway because of the movement in the shackles.

But the equalizer only moves for and aft with articulation of the wheels (one up or down more than the other). If the wheels are both level then there's no for and aft movement of the equalizer.

A good alignment shop would be cheaper.

I think kit 1, and some square tubing, would give you the height you are looking for, strengthen the chassis, and give alignment adjustability…

I hope it works for you. I would like to raise my TT a couple of inches and this may be a good option.

Scott,

Take a moment and look at your springs. The front and rear hanger is fixed and controls the position of the spring. The axle cannot move as it is held by that hanger. It is the front and rear hanger that is creating the axle alignment to the tow ball and to the other axle.

The alignment that can be accomplished by the Reico Titan is the front axle is tracking true to the tow ball, (thrust angle) and the rear axle is parallel to the front axle.

It does not adjust for camber or toe angle.

I would declare the Reico unit provides a course adjustment for thrust angle and axle to axle parallelism. If one wants to adjust the axle in this direction in a fine resolution dead on, the use of an adjustable axle seat can give you this. Alko makes one for the larger axles and "some" have made their own home made ones. Looks like this.

Hope this helps
