Whew, after a week in 95 plus degree temps in full sunlight I knew a second A/C was a must and after a lot of research on the past posts it was a no brainer as the way to go. Got one today and plan to do the install this week. Good thing is it's already prepped for a second A/C in the bedroom so it should be fairly easy.

You won't regret it. It was 110 here today and was able to keep my camper in the low 70's thinks to the second ac. I fought it for two years before biting the bullet. Wish I had put it on at delevery.

We're fortunate we live about 2 hours from the coast. When the weather gets hot here in the 100's we head for the coast. No need for the 2nd A/C.

We are heading to Myrtle Beach in a few weeks to try it out. Always in full sun there so it should tell the tale.

Weather here in central UK is cloudy, wet and about 66F, beginning to wonder if even 1 AC is needed, please send us some sun for the Olympics.

The hardest part will be getting it on the roof and maneuvering it around for the install. Of course that gets compounded if its still 100 degrees outside.

We live in California where its HOT. When we bought our new 5th wheel Jayco, we noticed that about 90% of the trailers on the lot only had one AC. We were lucky to find one with two AC's and 50 amp. It's a cheap option when they are factory installed and I don't understand why in this hot place that all 5ths don't have 2 AC's..

We've been with only one for over 6 years now and never felt the need until the last 3 weeks. Sure would love another one right now though. Outside Charleston SC where it's over 100 and going to be for the next 3 days.
