A while back there was a post here about when making a turn and how much the rear end of the RV would swing out. A couple of years ago, DW, GS and I were in Destin Fla. GS. was told by some friends of his back home that this Resturant, Fudd Puckers, or Fudd Ruckers, Cant remember which, served Fried Allagator. He wanted to try it so we drove to the resturant and as we were parking the Toad, there was a fairly large RV parallel parked in the RV spaces. They must have not paid any attention when they started off because on the Passenger's side of there space, the cars were pulled in Hood first a couple of feet from the side of his RV. When he pulled out of his space,His rear end swung out into the autos alongside him. He really did some front end damage to a couple of cars parked there. About all we could do was stand there and cringe. He waited a few minuteds to see if anyone came out of the resturant but when they didn't he continued on out without looking back. The owners of the cars he hit must have really been into that fried Gator .I informed the manager of the resturant.

I didn't think about the License number until too late. I was still Agog at what happened. I was thinking that any minute, someone would get out and look at the damage. I was also not close enough for these specs of mine to read the number.
OK. now, how many of you yunguns know what specs are???

I was gassing up at a Flying J and had a 5er do that to me at the pumps. I saw it happen and chased the rig across the lot to stop him. First he denied it and then admitted his deed. The driver's insurance paid up.

Hi All.

If my old brain remembers correctly, its 1 foot of swing, for every three feet of Over-Hang on that Motorhome.

You just can't fix "Stupid Drivers", no matter what they are driving. To Bad, you didn't get his number for the police. It was "Hit & Run". He should have waited, no mmatter how long it took, and he should have called the police right off, and also went into the place as ask for the owners of the cars he hit.

No where near the truoube he now faces.

Good Luck. Happy Travels. Dan & Jill
