Help!!! One side of my landing gear won't go up. The driver side goes up but not the passenger side. I tried hand cranking it as well as using the electric retract. Trying to get on the road. Left a message for Eclipse but they don't open for a couple hours. Any ideas?
Rig is an Eclipse Attitude 34CRSG.

Take cap off of jack inside trailer. I had one where the pin came out of the gear and it just spun for a few then bound up.

At the top of the jack there is a little metal U shaped cap that should pop off. Look at the gears when cap is off. Generally the pin that holds the gear in position on the shaft slides out a little and causes the jack to bind. That is how it was on mine. I don't know if yours are the same.

If your trailer only has one motor for the jacks the pin on the connecting rod between the two jacks probably broke. Some trailers are built with almost all of the jacks, motor, and connecting rods covered with cabinets.
You should be able to raise the trailer high enough with the one jack so the other comes off the grounds and you can slide the portion up that drops. If you can grab the connecting rod and it slides around or spins you know you have a broken pin probably on the non-drive side. Sheared pins can be a sign of other problems with the jacks.

Keith you nailed it. The pin was laying on the ground. I had to drill the hole out and file the end down and I am back in biz. Thanks for the quick replys.
