Is a 2500 series Dodge SRW rated for your 2850# pin weight??? I switched to an F-450 DRW cuz of the lateral movement.

I wouldn't do it, but many do without spontaneously exploding.....

They are designed to be towed by a shortpecker without a slider and be able to turn 88*. I suppose on really uneven ground, it could contact the roof.....I only have 5" bed clearance and no issues yet.

That brings up another question. Will it work OK with a longbed?

Well, I have been pulling mine with a long bed since that's all I own.......

I also removed that stupid frame flexing extended pin box they install on everything today so people can tow them with wannabe trucks I replaced it with a 9" shorter MorRyde box.

I did find pics of a long-bed towing the 300C, looks better to me because the trailer barley goes over the cab.

You do realize the whole point of this front end design is so that it goes over the cab of a short bed truck? This is to improve the turning radius, the aerodynamics, and the looks....

CONGRATS! we have the Cyclone 3010 and really enjoy it so far! You have a beautiful rig. I have a 15 months old son and it's awesome having the AC in the hot hot track days!

Isn't the cab profile of both SB and LB are the same? It is the extended pin box that makes it possible for the SB.

The point of the Ti cap is to get 5-6' of living space without having that extra behind the truck. This is what appealed to me since in CA, all combos of vehicles must be under 65' where I travel.

The cab is the same. The fifth hitch is further back in the 8 foot bed. That's why a TI front end is designed for a short bed truck specifically. To allow the trailer to be close but not hit in a turn. The pin box has nothing to do with it. Also, no slider is needed with a short bed and this design...
