So my last trip out I took a screw in the tread.
The tires are only a year old with about 500 miles on them.
Should I repair or replace the tire?.
Thanks....Erik

Take the tire off and put a hot patch on the hole on the inside is what I'd do. JMHO Others will say" replace" and must have more money than grey matter.

depends on what it looks like inside. So when you're getting it looked into make sure the place has what you need in case you have to replace the tire.

I had the same problem with new tires last year. The tire was plugged and seemed fine but then a big knot grew from the same place on the tire. Lucky I noticed it after we got to the campsite and I had to replace it. These ST tires are poor at best. I would replace it. JMO, WILL

If the hole is in the tread area, a plug/patch is the BEST way to repair it as shown on this website: http://www.artsautomotive.com/publications/8-automotive/66-tires-patch-or-plug
I've repaired many tires this way with no problems, if it's done correctly.

I've had TT tires repaired with inside umbrulla plug several times. In each case repair outlasted tread.

Patch if you can and the hole is not that big. I have patched a lot of tires that are filled to 80psi before with never a problem.

Me, I would take it to the trusted service center and have them evaluate it.

Dave H M has got the BEST advise. Why would you listen to a bunch of dummys like us when you can go straight to the experts. Use their advise. Not a bunch of opinions.
