Here comes the fanboy.

Wrong sock, dude...you forgot to switch to your "gmcsmoke" account.

Sorry, as much as you would like to believe it, that's not me. If you weren't so dumb you would simply ask the mod if that account is linked to me, but you're an idiot.

Just pointing out the facts son. BTW you don't have to pull off the cab on a Ram to work on the engine like you do a Ford. That's one fine truck, 8 hours total labor added before you even get to the repairs.

Wow, that's a new one.

Note: the engine of choice for Ford and Freightliner medium duty trucks (up to 33,000lbs) is the 6.7 litre Cummins! The trucks they're in are horrible, but no complaints with the Cummins ISB 6.7's at work.

Cool story, but what does that have to do with light duty trucks? The light duty 6.7 pickup app Cummins is the ONLY Cummins not using SCR.

The same could be asked of Blues....News, the story he linked has to do with MD and HD trucks as in class 6, 7 & 8 not class 2-5. As I have said before the 6.7 Cummins in the 2500/3500 series trucks will be the same as the 4500/5500 series trucks.

So they are going to put a lower horsepower rating in the 2500/3500 trucks to match the 4500/5500 trucks, awesome. You get this info from the same guy who said they don't install fender liners?

My sons 2008 Dodge just had the turbo replaced today, it was in at 8 am and they called to pick it up at 1:30. The truck has 80k on it and other than the nuisance CELs has been rock solid. All in all very impressive. oh I drive a 2011 Ford so just calling it like I've seen it.

Sounds like massive EGR is generating a lot of soot, and it is clogging everything up.

Sounds like he did not have the software updates and used it as a grocery getter. At least they fixed the problem in a few hours instead of like all the horror stories your Ford buddys have had taking days and weeks to fix problems.

Not new, that has been around for a while. A friend's bro in law popped a head on his Ford and had to pay to have the cab removed because he put a tuner on it.

He knows what I'm talking about, as far as the liners go mine didn't come with them and I know for a fact that the 2010 2500 rams didn't come with them unless you ordered them. Maybe with the new body style they are standerd but I will check into it for you Chucky ole boy.

All the more reason to delete the EGR.
