It was a sheet of self adhering rubber tape stuff. It's maybe 5 millimeters thick. I didn't see a name.

X2 on the evil tree!

Not as bad as the poor fellow we came across last year. I noticed he had two rolls of duct tape holding the nose of his $300K coach. Apparently as he was backing into his site, one of his front tires came off the pad and into the dirt. His DW continued to motion him backwards not realizing that his bodywork had landed on the pavement! It pulled the entire front cowl/cap/windshield off about 6 inches. He wasn't fretting; mentioned it was just another couple thousand deductible...no big deal!!!!

I think $20 worth of Eternabond will make your rig right.

Many tree's are just like the trees in the Lord of the Rings...they are angry, plotting and connivingly evil. They hate us "walkers" (the trees call us 'Walkers") and especially our RV's. They will take every opportunity to punch holes in our RV roofs.

Our poor innocent Jayco was attacked a few years ago, and a hole punched in the roof over our 5th wheel bedroom. We added a roof vent to the spot where the hole was.

The RV Park manager cut the limb off the tree, saying that this was the 3rd time the tree did this to unsuspecting campers.

We burned the branch in our campfire and danced around the fire ring with glee! HA HA HA HA!

Stupid tree.

As mentioned, cover it with Eternabond.

Get one of these....

Mine has saved my roof a few times and sure cleans up the parking pad at the campground for the next camper.

Due to my wifes stellar spotting skills I managed to rub a tree branch that cut my roof on the edge about a foot from the back of the trailer.

It's not her fault she can't judge distances. Women have been told that this length I------------------------> is 6" for so long they can't make accurate estimates anymore.

LOL!! I agree but when I specifally ask her to watch the tree because it looks close she says you're all set and BANG! I blaming her for this one.

You may want to thank her for giving you the opportunity to lean how to fix roof dings instead. (This if from a guy who has been married 3 times! Fortunately the 3rd time was the charm.)
