Traveling with a travel trailer from SLC to Jackson Hole Wyoming. Been pushing my car alot since the beginning of this trip. Is either 15 or 89 an easier route to take? Is one easier to drive with less elevation. Any info would be appreciated. My suv pulls fine but if theres any heat I would like to give it an easier ride even if it costs me a more scenic route. Thanks
I15 to Idaho Falls, and US26 up the Snake to Jackson. Keep in mind that it is a 'hole' so any other way out (even to the Yellowstone mountain top) will involve a climb.
Good Day:
Yes take I-15 then turn off at Idaho Falls, east on 26, stay away from Teton Pass. Camp sites along the hiway from I.F. to Jackson, mostley Forest Service.
