While I agree with always asking at Customer Service I will add another caveat. Buy something. Even if it is a cup of coffee the next morning or a simple nightcap it is appreciated and shows that you are not a freeloader.
I don't really know if it makes a difference to the store personnel but I like to think it is good karma.

Last time I looked into something on Yahoo I was required to get yet anther email address which I did not want. They don't honor and wont accept the email addresses people already have. Have they stopped that annoying requirement?

Down load the free WalMart file from the POI Factory to your GPS. It seems there is always a WalMart on route just ahead. The GPS file lists the phone number, wife calls ahead, gets permission and directions as to where they want us parked, works great.

+1
No database can give you a definitive answer on whether you can park at a particular WM or not. Your best bet is to use the phone numbers included in this POI to call and ask.

Click the map for the state you want, zoom in to where you are, and click on the menu for walmarts. It will even tell you which ones allow overnighting - based on user reports. Loveit!

I don’t think anyone mentioned the app for a smart phone we have the allstays app and it gives your present location and all the walmarts that allow parking overnight. We also have an app for Cracker Barrel resturaunts they have spots reserved for RVs and welcome overnight guests. They are located mostly in the east and south. Good food too.

Yup, just call ahead. for us, that stop is a good time to restock before hitting the road again. Buy the things we forgot etc... I noticed this morning that there were people staying over in a Target parking lot but way in the back where no one ever parks.
