I have a nearly new heartland Cyclone 3800. I just put on a correct track system and aligned it, now I would like to get some decent tires and get rid of the China bombs. They are size 23580r16. It is a triple axle model with gvrw of 18k. There does not seem to be XPS Ribs that size. Any advice? THX

You might try American bombs or Canadian bombs

The LT235/85R16 XPS would work - I just put Goodyear G614's on my Recon and they are LT235/85R16.

I have Taiwan bombs on my trailer...I hear there are Korean bombs out there, too, though.

The G614's are the same height as the 238/80R16 Towmax's I replaced. I was hoping for a little taller. Generally the track 235's are about an inch taller.

What's the brand of tire you now have? BF Goodrich has great tires for that size but make sure you have the "bad" tires first. When I bought my 5th wheel the owner had put on 6 brand new Freestar radial tires. I was really upset and took the 5th to my friend who owns a tire store. He said they were as good as most other tires and he has had no problems with them. He said they were one of the few "good" China tires.

In my life I've spent my money on women, booze, Harleys, guitars and traveling, the rest I just wasted...

Not again! I thought this debate was done.
Come'on guys. There is NO research data to support "Made in China" tires as more prone to failure when compared to tires manufactured in other countries when used within the limits of that particular tire. Best thing to do is: Check your load limits, check your inflation limits, check your speed limits.

So much to experience, so little time.
