There has been a number of posts and comments about balancing tires on trailers. Most say they should be balanced, some actually believe it's not necessary with no benefits. I found this video on YouTube with a good explaination of why they should be balanced. They aren't balanced from the factory because it costs the tire vendors money, and the RV manufactuers don't want to pay it. Simple as that.
There will still be those people who will say, "I've towed a trailer for 30 years and never balanced the tires.". Good for you.

My current set is balanced, although I can't really say I notice any difference vs other tires/trailers I've owned that weren't balanced.

My OEM set were not balanced.. Didn't really notice any problems.. Replaced them due to age last year. Got them 'online', but they were already mounted to the new wheels I got with them too.
Went to a local tire store and had them balanced for about $50.. He found that each one needed some sort of balance weight added to them.
Ran them last year and a couple of times this year and can't really tell any difference, so there you go!

I really think it is wrong to put a tire on any TT or car or truck and not balance them. I'm talking the manufacturer.
