I googled pictures of the 23J and it looks like you have the battery between the trailer and propane tanks. If it's anything like mine (see my signature pic) you'll be able to strap the tote to the propane tanks while it rests on the battery. Others have created storage under the trailer while some clever users have made a rack to carry it on the rear bumper.

We have a 35g tote with wheels that we carry black and grey water with (haven't had any issues with emptying my black water tank). I hook it up to my trailer hitch and tow it to the dump station. I transport it by putting it on my roof rack and strapping it down.

We have the 16 gallon smart tote. Wife and kids are good with water conservation but I don't expect them to take a spritz shower and flush every third time. The 16 gallon is good exercise for me and it isnt work if I'm camping.

There is an area under my camper between the frame.I beleive I can fashion a bracket to stow it under there.

I just picked up one of these at a garage sale today for $40. It seems to be a great find (although I need to find a water hose that will attach)

I found a 15 gallaon Tote N Store on ebay classified for $25. It works great. I only tote gray water. Its just me and my wife so even though she always insists I'm full of crap, we really don't come close to worring about our black tank needing dumping. I make maybe one or two trips over a weekend; enjoy a long shower when I want one. I clean it well each time and it stores perfectly in the storage compartment. Good purchase. As someone already stated, it's not work if your still camping.

For a 10 day trip with a family of 5, you're going to have to tote black water too, or make the kids use the comfort station (assuming there is one). The two of us usually fill our 40 gallon black tank about 1/2 full in a week. I second the recomendations to get one as large or larger than your holding tanks. Trying to stop dumping, with a full tank, before the hose is empty can be interesting (don't ask me how I know)((bring lime)). If you don't get a tote larger than your holding tank, dump often, before you have more effluent than your tote will hold.

We lug the trailer to the dump station when the black fills, break down, dump, and setup takes less then an hour. If you're lucky you should only need to do so once.

That would be too much work for us, especially if camping in the hot Texas sun. We have a 30 gallon BW tank and it fills fairly fast even with just us two in it - 3 days and it is ready to be dumped. We typically get full hookups or use the portable tank.
