What's the best thing a previous camper left at your site. I'm sure we've all been graced with some extra firewood, but what else have you lucked out on?
I pulled in yesterday and stumbled upon two candle lanterns about 8" tall. You put one of those cAndles that are about 1" diameter by about 3" tall in them.

Someone left 2 round,(cantalope-size) lanterns. You fill them with Tiki-Torch fuel and light the wicks. I think they might be called 'Smudge Pots'. That's the best thing anyone ever left. Now, don't get me started on the worst thing!!

Almost a full set of Linx Levelers (7 of a 10 piece set) It was a very unlevel site, and the previous tenant must have just pulled off of them, and driven away. It's now nice to have a few extras!

Hmmmm, lots of firewood, a giant Rubbermaid Tub, a nice pair of new hiking boots for my daughter, and a couple years ago I snagged a Coleman LP lantern somebody left hanging on the post.

I always get a kick out of driving around the camp ground and loading my truck with all the firewood the other folks have left behind! Last trip i snagged 30 feet of 5/8" rope because the previous people got it stuck in the tree...I managed to get it down though, i was pretty happy about that.

One time after we pulled into our reserved site we found a camp fire was all set up and ready to go with paper, kindling and firewood. All I had to do is strike a match!

I was afraid to get lambasted if I though about keeping the lanterns instead of saving them for the next person. Lol. Looks like I've got a cool new set of lanterns for the camper!
