Last year while out walking our dog my wife came back with a HP widescreen laptop computer and charge cord in a paper bag.......the hard drive had been wiped clean.....the B & G keys were not working and the battery wouldn't hold a charge more than about 10 minutes......
I bought a new keyboard and a new battery....so, for about $40 I have a nice but older (2005) HP pavillion laptop running XP that my daughter uses every day......
I also found a Watts regulator with gauge one time.......but, since it was my buddy that left it behind I wrapped it up and gave it back to him.......He was puzzled as to how I knew that he needed a new one.......he he!

A nice hatchet. Previous camper had embedded it in a tree trunk, up above eye level. Probably to keep small kids from playing with it. It just happened to catch my eye, and as hard as it was to see, it might have been there for some time. I still use it around the fire.
And for those who were critical, not all campgrounds have an office or even a host, and certainly not a lost and found. Lighten up a little, Francis!

I doubt something like a hatchet that was left is something anyone would come back looking for anyway. They'd figure oh well, gotta get a new one.
If it were a new chainsaw left at the tree, perhaps a diff story LOL

I pulled out of the campground last week while my wife was using the campground bathroom. If you find her, turn her into the office and I will pick her up the next time I am there.

Just a few forks and knives over the years. I kept them to use as tools at home. You know how sometimes a knife or fork will be perfect for a job at hand - the family was told in no uncertain terms to use them, not our everyday cutlery. They're even kept in the tool drawer.

My brother and I took out Dad out in mid April to kick off the camping season. I found a small plastic Dora the explorer toy. It's only about 1.5" high. Since it was so early in the season I figure she must have been there all winter.
She's kind of become our camping mascot. She comes along to every trip and gets displayed on a shelf somewhere. Lol

I can't believe how many pressure regulators are left behind.
My Watts with pressure gauge wasn't cheap. I'd hate to lose it.
I knew I would, if I attached it to the hose bib, so I connect mine to the city water port on the camper.
I did almost pull off with it attached, once. Now I just coil hose and regulator together, then screw female end from hose bib into male end of regulator toss in storage and its ready to go at the next site.
