What coolant can I top off my generator with ? premix ok? Can I
add it to the expansion tank ? Generator is an onan 10000 diesel

I was told by an Onan rep that I could use Preston 50/50 without the stop leak additive.

I would look at changing it and using ELC. Better protection for diesels.
Research Extended life Coolant (ELC)and it's benefits. If you are running a diesel vehicle, this is best for it also. I personally would not use Regular Prestone 50/50, except in my car. Just my .02 Jim
