I am looking to upgrade trucks and Im stuck between either a GMC 3500 Denali dually or a Ram Laramie 3500 dually. Ive always drove GMC but the new Ram is pretty slick. Thanks for your opinion.

You have a really difficult choice. That Megacab is nice, so is the Cummings 6.7L and the GMC diesel has not been touched by the GMC designers, so they pretty much still have the Isuzu design still working great.

Good Luck!

the '11 isn't worn out, I just need a little more truck for my load. Its a tough call, I guess Ill go with the best deal. Already, the Ram is 4k less and has a few more options.

We just traded in our 2500HD on a 2012 GMC 3500HD SLT Dually.
When we bought our 5th Wheel we got a great deal from RV Direct but bought more trailer than we had truck for, now with the 3500HD Dually we are in good shape.

I prefer the cab of the Dodge but would choose the Duramax over the Cummins.

You will get more truck for the money with the Ram Cummins. For the money saved you really should sit in a Longhorn, I did and I drove away that day with a Longhorn and I love it.

27,000# combined wt 55 at the slowest on the Grapevine north of LA on I-5 it is a several mile 6 percent grade. That is with 3:42 gears. Get the Max Tow 4:10 and you can tow most any RV out there. 13k on the clock and I am getting 9.5 mpg towing.

Very pleased with the truck!

I agree with this ^^^. In my case, I am a Dodge guy simply because they can be had for the lowest price in my experience. If it wasn't for the price issue there would be a GMC sitting in the coral right now instead of my Ram. I honestly would not by another Ram diesel until they get with the time's and start using a DEF system.

IF I was gonna jump ship and leave Ford, I think I would opt for the Dodge. Yes, a little less power but all three are pumping out so much anyway, it'll do fine.

I would check both out and test drive though.
