CT Wanderer,
I believe it is a 5 amp fuse that runs the control board for the PCS. The control board has relays that in case of power outage default to the n/c position. In this case without DC power in the coach it wouldn't make any difference because anything that needs dc to the control circuit even to run on shore power like the the a/c wouldn't work anyway.

So yes without the 5 amp fuse power the PCS control board is dead which in turn does not allow the Magnum info to pass through the PCS to the inverter so "no comm" on the Magnum remote.

Gary

Thanks for the information, I am not up with the Magnum Inverters. Yesterday was my first time looking to find out what makes them "tick".

To the OP...thank you for your response. We were concerned that you were still stuck in the CG. Since most of us have been there a time or two, it's certainly not fun. If the family's with you, the stress goes way up. Now that you're home we can all relax and simply wait to see what your problem was. Thanks again for the update and ignore the ignorant.....Dennis

That doesn't sound good. They should be letting you know what is going on.
Thanks for keeping us up on the status.

I would think 12 days is a little on the long side to at least have an idea of what's going on. Good Will CW creates by getting the OP there is being lost for what now appears to be a lack of good service, go figure!

It seems like if he does not have any AC power into the coach, it seems like the big fuse right behind the inverter on mine mounted on the wall would have blown and nothing gets past that if blown. Another thing in the inverter is a transfer board, IF that goes bad, NO power into the coach. It seem like a good tech at CW would have tracked it down already.
Sometimes you have to push them people to work on your coach or else you might find yourself waiting for a long time. I stay right with them and push them to work on the coach and it has worked for me so far. Either fix it or else pull it to a place that can fix it.

The sevice writer tells me they order a SOLENOID and are waiting for it to come in. I have him checking what the eta is now. They "think that will resolve the 12 volt problem".
