I would like to compile a list of all the RV friendly routes (i.e. not too scary, twisty or full of cliffs, low tree branches, etc.) between the Oregon coast and I-5. I'm starting northbound up the coast and while I might drive the whole coast, I may instead want to cut over to I-5 at some point to continue up to Washington.
I know I could search hundreds of posts that have mentioned one good route at a time, but that would just take too long. I am hoping that a few of you collectively know all the good routes and could list them here.
Thanks!

I am assuming you are coming north on US101.
From Reedsport you can take Hwy 38, scenic and a nice road.
From Florence, you can take either Hwy 128 or 36. Hwy 36 is more scenic but Hwy 128 is more of a straight shot. Either one is doable.
You could stay on 101 to Astoria and then take Hwy 30 to Longview and over to I-5.
Otherwise stay right on 101 to Washington. It's a nice road with only a fair amount of traffic. I prefer it to I-5 any day, and you'll miss the mess through Portland....JMHO....Dennis

It is a rough goat trail at best, the log trucks don't even use it unless they are hauling from a cut off of it. West of Poodle Creek Rd isn't too bad, at least it is straight.
I took it a few years ago just for grins and giggles, sort of knowing what I was getting into, and spent most of the time a foot or two into the on- coming lane to avoid the tree limbs. Absolutely no shoulder for the length of it. Doable? Yes. But not worth it.

Thank you for the replies.
Google and Mapquest both show route 126 (not 128) out of Florence (to Eugene). Is that what you mean?
So nothing good between Florence and Astoria?
And if I do continue on 101 into Washington, can I comfortably take 107/12/8 over to I-5 at Olympia?

The road with the lowest elevation change is HWY 38 from Reedsport to I-5 through Drain.
Florence to Eugene on 126 is not bad for elevation change .
North of Florence the passes are higher and the traffic is worse getting to I-5.
The Portland Metro area over crowds the Northern Oregon Coast cities with weekend traffic.
The whole Oregon Coast is a wonderful place. You should take time to enjoy it if you have not been there.
Consider taking an extra day and stopping along the way.
Astoria to Longview on Hwy 30 is a good choice if you are continuing North.
I have lived in Oregon for 66 years. I have camped / travelled the coast from Brookings to Astoria. It is a special place.
However, I prefer Newport south to Brookings about three to one over Newport to Astoria....

Near Seaside you can take US 26
Tillamook you can take OR 6/26.
Astoria you can take US 30 to Rainer, cross the bridge into Longview and then to I-5.
Drawing a blank right now on WA 107 but WA 8 and US 12 are fine.

There as been some construction on hwy 20 east from Newport.
From the north end of Lincoln City you can go east on hwy 18. You can follow 18 to 99 on into the Portland area where you can connect with I5. Or, Hwy 18 and then follow hwy 22 (near Willimina) to Salem and connect with I5 there.
You can go as far north as Tillamook and take Hwy 6 east which connects with Hwy 26 at Banks and on into the Portland area where you would take the 405 north which connects to I5.
