I took all the shelves our of our Dometic fridge for cleaning after the last trip, and lost one of the little plastic "grommets" that hold the wire shelves in place. I couldn't find one on the web, so e-mailed Dometic customer service...

They're sending a replacement, at no charge. I just thought they deserved to get a little positive publicity as appreciation!

Thanks, Dometic!

We had a similar experience with Dometic. We wanted the door to open from the opposite side but we didn't have to pieces that we needed to do it. Dometic shipped them to us completely free of charge.

I figured out after my warranty was over that I was missing the little plastic covers that fit over the screws that hold the seat down on our Dometic toilet. (I knew the screws were showing but thought that was just the way it was until I saw another) I called Dometic and for two plastic snap on covers about the size of a nickle they wanted $18 and $12 dollar shipping. 10 cents worth of plastic could have been mailed for 50 cents. Called Heartland and they sent me two for nothing.
