Anyone going the weekend of august 3-5? I am going to take my mother for the weekend. We have not stayed in the same camper for many years but I regularly stay at her house on weekends due to the 40+ miles between our houses. I enjoy all the time I get to spend with my mother and can not wait to go.If any of you are going let me know. PS I have not got reservations yet but I am calling now. If I cant get reservations I will go elsewhere but this is my first choice.

August 5-8 is Sunday through Wednesday...not a weekend to us...lol

Sorry Brian it is the 3rd-5th, I have no idea where I got the 5th-8th. I turned 41 today so I guess oldtimers is kicking in LOL WILL

oh ok..just looked and Stone Mountain has some spots available...we may shoot up there that weekend. Gotta talk it over with Angie first.

well scratch that idea....she reminded me we were going to Augusta to see her parents that weekend... maybe August 17-19...

We will be at Julian Price, just out of Blowing Rock, on the BRP, Aug 17-19. Great place, and cool. Give it a try.

Carowinds does have a campground and from what I remember, it is costly... When in September? The Democratic National Convention is in September and I have to work during it. Pretty sure I may on the weekend before it and not sure of the weekend after. Actually not sure of what weekends I will have to work in September. The schedule isn't out for it yet...
