I have WW SL2805 5th wheel

I am curious if there is a 12 volt outlet for the TV hookup?

I notice in antenna hookup connection, there is a deep socket in the same outlet. I haven't found anything that fits it. Is this a 12V outlet or something else? It would be great if I could get a 12 volt adaptor into it & run my LCD TV. Does anyone know what that is and if I can use it?

Also, my reception is very bad. The Omni antenna is weak, the tuner on my LCD TV is weak too. I may buy another TV but for sure I'll upgrade the antenna first. I've seen the Jack & Batwing, but I don't know which is beat nor how best to install them. Should I use the same spot where the Omni is now? (at least the wiring is all there). Any experience or recommendations?

Yes it is a 12VDC plug in the Ant. outlet. I plug a 400 watt inverter into it and then plug in my LED TV and sat box and run off of the batteries. The 12VDC plugs look like that, just like the ones in your car. Also make sure the little black button is pressed in and a green light is lit on the Ant. outlet. This turns on the Antenna amp.

thanks, the green light is always on. I can't remember a black button.

I couldn't get my 12 v adapter to fit in that socket.

thanks

OK, did some research and found that these plugs are slightly smaller than cig lighters!

Yes, you are correct the cig lighter is slightly larger, but I haven't had a problem with any of the portable iverters plugging into a 12VDC power port. I have gotten extra power ports from West Marine Here. I have one local and they do have both male and female connectors. I have wired in a couple extra around my WW.

Also make sure you shut off that button it will drain your batteries.

Also make sure the little black button is pressed in and a green light is lit on the Ant. outlet. This turns on the Antenna amp.

That 12v socket is very tight on many TH 12v plugs I've tried. But You can usually gently force in most 12v plugs using dielectric grease. I use it on all mine to help 'slip it in'. Not a lot of lube, light coating and wipe it off before inserting. When its tight, always lube it.
In a pinch, I've used a little cooking olive oil, extra virgin olive oil, lol...
