If your truck sits relatively level to begin with, is there any benefit to air bags? My truck doesn't need much (any) help with saggy butt, so I wonder what air bags could really contribute in my situation. Will they help the ride of my truck?

I've got the Firestone Ride-Rites on my truck. I usually have between 20-30 psi in them. Funny thing was I when to install them and the upper brackets were already there.

This sounds interesting, what package?
Thinking about bags, just to smooth out the bad spots in the road (HY26 to Oregon coast). I don't have a need to level.

My last 3500 dually had over 200k miles with lots of towing. I added airbags to help as my 5vr has a very high pin weight. They really helped out since the suspension had some miles on it. I had in cab controls which made it really nice to fine tune going down the road. Also it was a huge help when hitching to the trailers, as I could just "bag up" and connect if the trailer was a little high. Even worked getting under the ball of a tag trailer as I'd get about 2-3.5" of lift. Once connected, I'd lower the bag pressure to the appropriate psi.
On my newer dually I've installed bags but have yet to plumb the on board air. The truck doesn't need the help. Right now I just want to use them to assist in hitching.

Had Firestone air bags on my 2006 F250, and one of the first things I did with my 2012 was to put air bags on it.
But they are for leveling the truck when hitching my 11K pound 5th wheel. If I never hauled more than a couple sheets of plywood or softener salt, I wouldn't feel any need for them. I don't personally see them as helping the ride when the truck is empty . . . which mine is most of the time.

Have had Firestone airbags on our 2003 F250 4WD since 2006. Typically run about 30 psi in them while travelling with 38' 5th wheel. Like them a lot most of the time. One problem. The 2003 F250 4wd pickup has tongues for the overload bumpers that are located right where the Firestone bracket mounts between the airbag and the spring/axle. This causes the adjustable bracket to have to be set at its longest position to fit around the tongue. The standard Ford rubber bumper is removed from the tongue. This limits the amount of extension of the airbag in normal loaded position and when one goes over a sudden significant bump there is a chance the airbags will bottom out. Don't know if this problem exists with your truck.
