Wife and I are on our first trip in our moho 04 itasca horizon and the slides are stuck in the middle. The first slide came out fine then the others stoped in the middle. Motor runs but move very slow or not at all. It's fixin to rain and there is a lot of daylight between the gaskets. i reallydont want to try to crank them in manually. Dont know how. i would like to check the hydraulic fluid . Anyone know where the resorvoir is located. I know, I am a newbie!

Is the rig level?
Are you sure the slides are hydraulic? Some are and some are electric.Just start opening basement areas until you see the pump. Can't really check fluid level unless all are retracted (holds true for slides or jacks).

Also check the ignition switch - some rigs (mine for instance) disable the slide controls if not in Park with brake set..

Thanks for the promt responses. Coach is pretty level , maybe a little low in front but this is our 8th day out and the slides have always worked flawlessly. Brakes are applyed. It is a hwh system 04 itasca horizon. Since we are planning on leaving tomorrow to golden, co i need to get the slides in and maybe have it checked a camping world in golden. Is it hard to get the slides in manually and where would the hydraulic resivior be , not back by the motor , but in one of the compartments? The hwh service manual is the only one I cant find with the cluster of manuals in the moho

My reservoir is behind a tin panel in my battery compartment.
How about your jacks? the warning lite on hydraulic jacks is triggered by the fluid level being pushed back in the resorvoir by the springs. so if warning lite will go out you have low level of fluid.

My slides seem to move more quickly and with more force while the engine is running. Maybe try that if you haven't gotten things working yet.

Are you plugged in to shore power? If your batteries are weak, that could be the problem.

the slides need a battery to work is usually the problem.
If you aren't hooked up to electricity, connect to your vehicle and start that up. Either of those to things will get the converter running and should help solve the problem. Also, If you push on the slide while it is going in, you can speed up the process a little bit without hurting anything.
