How old willl you be if you DON'T start full timing?
It is never too "late." In our travels, we have met folks in thier 90's ejoying this lifestyle!!

2005 Dodge 3500 - Dually- Cummins
2006 Outback 27 RSDS
We also have with us two "fur babies". A Basset Hound and a Chihuahua mix. Both are rescue dogs.

Interesting question. I will be 70 soon. We have thought about full-timing but ruled it out for a variety of reasons. Not directly related to age but sort of, indirectly. Right now we are both healthy but I have had heart valve replacement and I know we could face a variety of age related issues in the next 5 to 10 years. I don't like to think about being "on the road" if there are serious health problems. Also no way of knowing how long I will physically feel like messing with the 5th wheel, etc. Kind of wish we had done it when I retired 12 years ago. We do still RV for long periods but we know we have that "home base" with friends and some family to go back to. I don't think you can put a specific age on the issue but you might think about whether or not you see yourself doing it 5-10 years from now.

Yes: If you are in your 50's like me, it is too long to wait!
&
No: If you are already 70,you can do whatever you want as long as you want to and are healthy and wealthy enough.

Amen !
We may only have a coupla more years due to health & limitations, but will nonetheless enjoy having our own place ... even if we have to go somewhere warmer in winter (short trips back & forth).

Lived in Wisconsin and when you see the 70 and 80+ year old farmers still plowing, planting and bringing in the hay and corn from dawn to dusk and then milk the cows 24 7's.......is a constant reminder that you CAN do anything you want to, and BTW keeps you fit to do so!
