I want to take a couple of seconds to tilt at my favorite Windmill, the Good Sam guy. Can we please bring him out of the 50s and into the 21st century? I actually took down my Good Sam signs at my parks because I have spend literally hundreds of thousands of dollars upgrading the parks and anywhere the Good Sam logo is posted looks like it hasn't been touched for 50 years. Even the color scheme screams decades ago. I mean he wears white socks and black shoes, a solid red shirt, has shorts that might have last been worn by Jackie Gleason on the Honeymooners and his hair looks like it might have been styled by Woodrow Wilson's barber. He is out of shape and could use a couple of years in the gym. All he needs to complete the outfit is a slide rule and a quill pen. Let's not make Social Security checks and an AARP card mandatory ID to become a Good Sam member. Bring the logo, the Good Sam dude, and Good Sam itself into the 21st Century.

Maybe if you design a new logo ans submit it they could buy it from you and you could make some money. Otherwise they will go to an advertising firm that knows nothing of the lifestyle design and sell them something no one will really want.
Just a thought.

I kind of like it the way it is. So many logos change so much whereas the original ones invoke more feelings of nostalgia. It is such an unmistakable image, that might be why they keep it as is. Will take quite a bit of time rebranding. And the main goal of branding anyway is to be very recognizable, not necessarily something that looks great, just something that invokes instant recognition when someone looks at it. The current logo certainly does do that. Now as far as images other than the standard face logo, I don't think it would matter if they change up his outfit, but keep the shirt red. lol I am sure my vote won't make a diff, but I like it as is. lol
