We stayed in an open graveled lot on the west side of Wendover on south side of rode. There is a hotel and casino next to the lot. Generally several trucks and some RV's use this lot. Never had any problems.

When everything's coming your way....
...you're in the wrong lane and going the wrong way.
There is nothing between those two points except the rest area mentioned. There is a KOA in west Wendover and one othere park along with the casinos parking lots. Have fun
There are a few NFS CG's up South Willow Canyon SW of Grantsville in the Stansbury Range. These sites do get you up in elevation for a little bit of cooler temps. Plus, they are away from the salt flats and the fine white dust that seems to blow up every day. Most of the exits west of Grantsville all seem to be there because of some industrial/mining business. Not much of any place to even boondock.
