The door latch mechanism on our 2004 Tioga has begun to stick so that I can't open unlocked door from the outside, have to go in from cab and open door from inside. I have shot everything with RV Silicone Spray but no joy. Is there an adjustment to be made?

Try adjusting the striker plate - the one on the frame of the coach. Should be 2 large screws holding it on. These plates will from time to time get pushed inward, making the latch bind. Move it outward and see if that helps.

A similar thing happened to mine. It is not the same model but on mine the outside handle has a cam on it that pushes a lever up when operated. A little lithium grease on the cam solved the problem. I could see the cam when I pulled the handle out. Yours may or may not be the same.
Good luck.

My know-it-all son noticed a bolt with an elastic nut inside a hole in the end of the door that moves in and out as you move the exterior door handle. A deep 7/16 socket just fits the hole and engages the adjustment nut. I rotated the adjustment nut a couple of turns and the door latches and unlatches easily using the outside "paddle" without sticking shut or need for slamming or yanking now. I didn't see any info on this adjustment on the Tri-Mark website.

Just beware that is the first symptom and the next is you getting locked out from the outside when the cheap pot metal breaks inside when you just close the door.
Many threads about this type of lock and them breaking, one thread just this week. Common problem with the Tri-Mark and there is 'no' generic replacement so henceforth Trimark has no plans to rectify the cheap metal used.
Mine started sticking too and within 2 weeks I was locked out and had to have the entire mechanism ripped out of the door and wait 5 days for a new one to be shipped to the CG I was at.

Spoke too soon, sticking door problem recurred, will contact Tri-Mark tomorrow for advice on adjustments/fixability/repolacement of mechanism. MH restroom came in handy while Roto-rooter man unclogged house main drain today. When it rains it pours. Our new Border Collie puppy, from Brookings, OR, passed his physical today and is getting along great with Ricky and Lucy.

Kevin of Tri-Mark support gave me instructions over the phone and e-mailed me an instruction sheet to adjust the locking/latching mechanism including an exploded view of the assembly. I'll try the procedure and report back.

I tried the following adjustment procedure a number of times and it finally worked, at least it has not stuck again (yet):
1. Rotate the rotor (black nylon latch "grabber" in edge of door)until it latches
2. Lock the handle from the inside (using the lower manual lock lever)
3. While pulling up on the inside handle, turn the adjustment nut visible in the hole in edge of door, clockwise with long 7/16 socket until the latch releases
4. Manually turn the adjustment nut counterclockwise 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 turns
5. Unlock the door and open the door from the inside handle. The latch should release before the inside handle reaches maximum travel.
6. CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE INSIDE HANDLE DOES NOT OPEN THE DOOR WHEN IT IS LOCKED
