Love the signs and hope they help. We are really good about picking up after our dog. I think most people are however there are always going to be those few.

Now for the rest of the story. Recently while camping with a group of people we all noticed a pile next to one of the trailers. Let's just say it weren't no dog, they also left some tp to go with it. Guess we need I sign for that now!

You've trained your dogs to wipe themselves? Or do you do the wiping?

I once heard my mom tell the neighbor that if she saw that kid letting the dog******on our yard again, that she was going to shoot it with a BB gun, and she was going to shoot the dog too.

The only RV Park we have stayed at that there were no "poop piles" anywhere was where the sign said "report anyone walking off when their dog pooped, and you get a free night's stay plus the offender is booted out of the rv park" (at least words to that effect) ... we always took our digital camera with us, but no such luck ...

I live in Silverdale Wa and we have a major walking area here called the Clear Creek Trail.I am responsible for replacing the mitts in several mitt stations in ONE of the sections and in the 15 months that I have been doing it,I have gone through 8 boxes of bags and that's 2,000 per box. What really ticks me off though is that we still find a large amount of piles on the trail every day and also a number of full bags either laying beside the trail or hanging from a bush out in the field. We do provide garbage cans at each entrance to the trail system.
I don't mind the occasional bear poop, anywhere he wants of course, and I know that the coyotes have a bit of trouble reaching the dispensers, but when you see someone's dog poop right buy a mitt station and just walk off, that kinda irratates a person.

I'd be willing to bet that the owners of the trailer it was next to were not so good at cleaning up after their dog!!!!!!

We have gotten good results from my neibours just by flipping there dog poop off the grass and out into the street. They run over it then track it into their own garage.

Actually the owners were part of our group and he was the first to notice it. Trust me it was not a dog. Might have been some sort of message. If it was it was lost in the translation.

Now to make it REALLY effective, devise a way to attach a roll of plastic to the sign. I wouldn't mind having one on my front lawn where some of my neighbors could use a little reminder on the subject.

AWESOME idea!

You and the OP should market that lol.

The mechanics of it is the easy part. I need to get to a store that sells the bags.
