I just happened to check the new revised AF website and looked at their new 2013 brochure. Looks like they are coming out with a new double slide out model called the 996. Kinda resembles the Lance 992 with wet bath. Weights are TBA.

Looks to me like a 990 variant. Looking at the floorplan, it seems only the cabinets over the range & sink slide out? That might be a good compromise to create a more open feeling with barely any weight difference. It might even slide out by hand.
Northwood Manufacturing (Arctic Fox) certainly is making sure they are seriously in the truck camper game. They just went through a major change to update all the things they make and to make lighter models. It is a refreshing commitment during this time when many manufacturers are downsizing or have vacated the market. I am looking at a new 1150 dry bath or the 992 that also has a dry bath.
