don't bring inlaws it's sure to ruin a good trip. If you must, have extra Jack Danials to take the edge off aaarrggghhh.

Do not give granny a bottle of shake and pour pancake mix unless you want to scrub it off the walls, ceiling, floor, carpet, cabinets, sofa, table, counter tops and stove....... apparently not everyone knows that you need to periodically vent these things when shaking or they will explode!!!! For this one, I think valium would have been more appropriate than Jack to take the edge off.

I would need to see a doctor for that and He would call me crazy. Then again maybe he would prescribe the valium a.k.a. vitamin A

Vitamin A is ativan. Vit V is versed. Vit X is xanax. Any of the above would have helped. How my mom got out with her skin intact, I'll never know.

This is a very bad picture but it might give you an idea. This is after she tried cleaning up the mess. I am still finding stains from the great pancake explosion of 2011. The trailer wasn't even a year old yet!!!!!

Years back we had a pop-up camper and forgot to lower the back jacks. We just sat down on the back pulled out bed slide and the camper front end went up into the air. Had a good laugh over this.

Moral to the story get yourself additional hoses and electrical adapters. You never know when you will need those things.
If you don't have those extras ahead of time you are sunk when the time comes

Ah yes...but in 99% of the cases the good old Walmart is only minutes away from just about any place on earth.

The biggest lesson anyone will soon learn is if if they don't like doing maintenance work then being a trailer owner is not going to be something they'll enjoy for very long.

Chock the TT's tires BEFORE disconnecting from the TV. We got a scare our first year out... thought the camper might go down the mountain into the lake. Luckily it only moved a few inches... but made a believer out of us!

Happy Camping!
John.

After a water line popped off under the camper, flooding the belly, we now only turn the pump on when we are running water. Otherwise it's always off.

We were camping this week and had the same line pop off again. Even after the dealership "fixed" it. Fortunately the pump was off and very little water leaked out.

I think you need to fix it yourself to make sure it gets done right.
