I just purchased a Northland Camper from Camping World in Meridian Idaho which was advertised as a 1997 Grizzly 990. After getting the tiedowns installed (this is another whole complaint) and the camper loaded and at our sons house in Nampa on the 28th of July, I discovered a package in the closet with all the paperwork, which shows that the camper, in fact is a 1997 Northland 1060, which is also verified by the manufacturers sticker on the rear of the unit. I purchased the camper under the assumption that it was a 990 which, I was told by the manufacturer, weighed 2500 pounds, and while it would have put my GCVW at max, would be acceptable to me. instead, this camper weighs in excess of 3000 pounds which, if I can get it loaded properly, (another story) should put the weight on each axle at max, but well over the GCVW of the 2006 Dodge 3500 SRW. I don't think there is much to be done at this time, but I am contemplating putting airbags on the truck, which will not increase the GCVW but may help take some weight off the springs.

It was advertised as a 1997, there is a Camping World sticker on the front that says 1997 NORTHLAND GRIZZLY, The Manufacturers sticker is barely readable as it is a 1997, I bought it over the internet, as I live 400 miles away. I PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE DONE A LOT OF THINGS AND I'M SURE ALL YOU "EXPERTS" WILL POINT THEM OUT! THANKS FOR YOUR HELPFUL INPUT!!! I found the manufacturers original warrenty package inside the closet later and the original order slip was in it which alerted me that it was not as advertised!

Take a chill pill,if you signed a title and bill of sale they should have told you what you were buying. If they did and you didn't read it....well you have to understand what will come next, buyer beware.
If you did and it's not right you have certain legal rights,I assume that's not the case. I assume you are keeping it and simply need advice how to haul it. I would simply rephrase my post...say oops I goofed, lose the chip on your shoulder and take the advice. We all make mistakes.
safin1949, thank you for your advise, I have the bill of sale in front of me and it clearly states Grizzly 990. Thanks again, I'll be consulting a lawyer this week. Markiemark32, do you think I should contact the store before lawyering up? You two have given REALLY helpful advise.
I think you should contact the store and let them know of their mistake before getting a lawyer involved. If your bill of sale states that it is a Grizzly 990 but it is in fact a 1060, They made the mistake. Personally, I would give them the opportunity to make things right.
Keep us posted on your progress!

Why would you not contact the store? Why would you pay for a lawyer when it probably can be fixed with the store? Ok and if you have a Dodge 3500, why the heck can't it pull a 3000 lb travel trailer?
