Our Top O Wisconsin Good Sam Chapter is in a park this week that is not a GS park. The owner was asking how a CG becomes a Good Sam Park so here I am asking for information for them.
Thanks,
Dave Kedrowski

I don't think that a GS chapter has to go to a "GS"park to get together!
Many - many years ago, we belonged to a GS chapter and we never went to a GS park!
If my memory serves me well, I don't think they had any GS Parks then?
I'm talking early 1960's here.

I can't answer the OPs question but I would think contacting GS vendor services should be an easy thing to do. I do have a couple thoughts on chapters staying at non-GS parks.
1) On first thought it does seem a bit odd that a chapter would choose to support a non-GS park if other options were available.
2) However, it appears that the OP and other chapter members have done a good job of representing GS, and now the CG is at least interested in joining the GS family. This can't be a bad thing for GS and speaks highly of the chapter.

No GS parks near our members and to make things simple and not end up having a WagonMaster set up a gathering far-far away we limit our distance to 200 mile radius of Mellen, WI.
Personally I'll stay at a GS park whenever the opportunity arises.
