Have troubleshot the trailer and have narrowed the problem to the general circuit, the 120v outlets. What is the best process to narrow the GFI issue? Any suggestions?

Check under slideouts for any junction boxes. Remove covers and check that the ground connections are clean and good. Had slight corrossion at a ground connection from slight moisture getting in box.(Spray from wheel being forced past weather seal). Bad ground will trip GFI.

I am suprised you traced the fault to your 120 outlets. Most of the time, the fault lies in the water heater because the element has gone bad for any reason including you forgot to turn off the electricity before you emptied the water heater.

GFI in kitchen tripped and wouldn't reset......finally traced problem down to an outside outlet. It had gotten wet. Disassembled outlet, dried it out, reinstalled and resealed the outlet box.

GFI circuits are a PITA to identify problem.......patience, tenacity and check each outlet/junction downstream one at a time...starting with the last one in the daisy chain.

Are you plugged into a GFI that is tripping or is this the GFI in the RV?

Washing the trailer--hose against the outside 120 receptacle--gets wet--guilty!

Or, where if like ours the 120 outside is right by the water filler inlet--careless use of the hose to fill the tank--120 GFCI- boom.
