NuWa is not leaving its owners out in the cold and will continue to do warranty work no matter what happens with production. How often do you see thwt? Their service department is top notch. And people do keep their HitchHikers a long time because they are such a quality built unit. Whenever we have questions concerning our unit, we can call or email Daryl in service, or Brian the production manager, and we get a response within the hour. How many times do we read on this forum all the trouble people have with after purchase service. That is never a problem with NuWa.

Artemus: the RV review link you provided had negative comments about the Hitchhiker II series, and those from several years back.

The Hitchhiker II is the bottom of the barrel as far as the Hitchhiker quality/luxury levels go. The Discover America series and Champagnes are really way above these.

And the Champagne IS in level with New Horizon, DRV Mobile Suites.

Now, I've been on this forum for almost 9 years. In those 9 years, I've seen one topic I can recall where Hitchhiker made a unit the owner could rightly complain about. And this poor lady just filled the pages with complaints.

Now mind you, I don't recall all the exact problems she had, but they were numerous.

And Hitchhiker did not repair her fiver. Nope, read it again, they did not repair it for her.

They bought it back from her and gave her a full refund!

Now, to me, that's a sure sign that Hitchhiker stands behind the quality of their fivers.

But, since quality is a subject based entirely on one's perception, it is open to debate, or in this case, an all out argument.

If posters would cut out the brand loyalty propaganda and the BS.

All this topic actually required from anyone was "Hey, you got a new fiver?? Good for you. End of discussion, or so logic would assume.

Seems logic has left the building. And finally, I will admit here, that my Hitchhiker has not been perfect, because no mechanical item bounced all over the United States can stay that way.

Well aware of that fact. These gentlemen refuse to admit any of the HH brand had problems. The facts are minimal research shows recalls and failures not much different than these people quoted for eairleir Montana's/Keystone Forrest River products. Also based on low volume of products the amount of problems should be fewer. They think today's Montana's are like they were several years ago. I realize these people will not admit to any problems. Wasting my time ! My Montana is not perfect cause it made up of several thousand components. I agree with all your statements thank you! Good night.

I can't believe how uninformed you are and yet continue to post garbage that proves your ignorance. Have you ever even been inside a NUWA, Newmar,New Horizens, Spacecraft or a DRV? Lets throw in now gone but not forgotton Travel Supreme or Carriage. You obviously have no idea of what a true upper level 5'er is. Continure to enjoy your Montana but please get a clue about the rest of the world. I can honestly say I have owned and have owner knowledge on 3 of the 7 mentioned and have took factory tours on 4 of the 7. Randu

Yeah! Thank you, Randu, for not forgetting the 'oldies but goodies'. We're seriously in love with our Travel Supreme and after a year of owning a 6 year old unit, STILL can't get over the quality -- both inside AND outside.

Travel Supreme had been our "Dream" unit after we first saw one in the early '90's...couldn't afford it then, and when we were getting ready to trade up to one...they went under!

Have friends with '98 or '99 that they just had fullbody painted...OMG! I would LOVE to have that unit...what a beautiful, well built RV!

I had a 2000 Travel Supreme that I traded for a bigger Newmar Kountry Star in 2005. Woodwork and overall cabnet construction much better on the TS. Friends 2004 Hitchiker Discover Ameria very close to same workmanship with real wood. Newmar used alot of wrapped wood. Glad to now have a Mobile Suites with real wood again. Randu

I apologize for stiring the pot...This is NOT what this forum is for, there is a wealth of great information her, plus a LOT of great people, too!

To the OP, congratulations on your purchase. May it serve you well many years, as ours has. Welcome to the Hitchhiker/NuWa family!
