New to RVs but took our trailer out recently. Everything working well until the furnace didn't start when it got cool one night. Checked it in the morning and it seems dead. Was working fine the day before. It's a Hydro-Flame 8500 series furnace and is controlled by a wireless Dometic Duo-therm tstat. Problem seems to be with the wireless receiver.? It previously always beeped each time a remote button was pressed to change the setting. Now it doesn't beep and nothing happens. Batteries are good in remote and it seems fine. Reciever on ceiling has the heat light on but does nothing and pushing buttons does nothing. Any help or suggestions?

Another set of batteries and make sure they are installed correctly. I have picked up an old battery before.

yeah. Did that. Problem seems to be in the reciever part. It's a small box screwed to the ceiling with what looks like a telephone cord running to it from the A/C control unit. It does nothing when I press the buttons on it, either (not using the wireless remote).

Check your rv battery voltage first before doing the following.

Disconnect from shoreline and disconnect your batterie negative lead/s for a minute or two to let things reset.
