I have a 2005 Itasca Suncruiser and the little spotlight that shines on the panel where the swirches for the gen set, water pump, tank levelinficators, etc. burned out. For the life of me I can't figure out how this little bugger comes apart so I can replace the bulb. I've twisted, pryed and poked it...nothing. Any one ever had to replace this bulb?

Pry the seam gently, because it's probably super brittle and burned up inside. If this is the same one, plan on replacing it and adding LED rather than that 10W Halogen.

Be careful prying things....!!.If yours are like mine, PRYING IT OFF WILL DAMAGE IT....mine have three small tabs or indentations on them...to remove, use a piece of rubber, or your fingers if they're sticky enough and gently turn them clockwise. The tabs will align with the indents and the ring will come off. The small glass cover can then be gently removed and the bulb replaced. Mine use the 10W 12VDC bulbs found in the garden light section of your local Home Depot. About $7 for two....Dennis

Jeff - it looks just like that one. I'll give it a try. Worse case is that I end up having to get a new one.
Dennis - I know which ones you are describing and I have had success getting those lens off. The one that that I am trying to open swivels when you try to turn it.
I pried one of mine and it damaged it and I had to replace the whole thing. Just a warning.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.
Expect to break it, because if it's the same one I have you will find lots of heat damage inside. I bought a replacement at Gamblers when we were in Quartzsite, and a really bright (brighter than the Halogen) LED drop-in replacement from Starlights at the show. She's a beauty now..
