Thought I had a fiberglass roof but turns out I have BriteTec.

I have read the Dicor recs, have searched here for answers with sparse results...

My coach is always outdoors, uncovered. Never had a leak issue.

Being closer to 300 than to 200 lbs I'm not a huge fan of walking on my roof, not for fear of heights more for fear of causing a problem that isn't there...have been lucky I guess over the years virtually ignoring all the rooves on my TTs and Fiver with no leaks but I'm not sure that is wise considering I've got more at risk now.

So, to all with a BriteTec roof what is your "regimen"?

And, do any simply forget about it? ie, if it ain't broke...

TIA

I haven't done much on my Brite Tek. I have had to clean some areas of marks when I resealed vents.
I would find some light weight to wash it down with soapy water and a medium brush and use lots of water to flush it off.

That's what kids are for! Actually there really is no need to do any cleaning. The rain takes care of it for free. I think it is more important to just check the sealant and repair as necessary.

I have had to clean mine a few times.

Think Kitchen floor.. I'm serious.. Here is the same/different things I do.

TO clean I need a mop, bucket, Spic & Span and water.

On the different. I have a long-handled telescoping handle "Van Wash" brush Found it's much better than a mop.. So I use it.

Spic & span same as in the kitchen Likewise the bucket.

Water is delivered by garden hose

Now with the kitchen you mop rinsing the mop in the bucket of soapy water often, then you clean the mop and bucket and do it again with clear water.

On the roof I mop as above but rinse with the hose and sprayer.

That's it.

I use Dawn dishwashing liquid as suggested by a Newmar tech. The wife keeps the sides of the rig rinsed down as I scrub the roof with a soft bristle brush with a long handle. I usually clean it in the spring after getting it out of cave storage, and then again in July/August. I'm a box of Krispy Cremes away from 290# and have not had any problems with the roof as far as seams or structural integrity.

I just found one more advantage of inside storage. Mine stays clean all over in the barn.

Dawn dishwashing liquid is known to strip wax, so keeping the sides of the coach rinsed down as it runs down off the roof is a good idea. Personally though I wouldn't use Dawn as I wouldn't want _any_ chance of removing the wax finish from the side of my coach.

Spic & Span also makes a mess of the side and in my opinion, even worse than Dawn. You get white dry streaks and wax stripping. A good car wash soap mixed with Murphy Oil Soap is good.
