Hello everyone.
We are planning a month stay up and down the Oregon coast this November and would appreciate any suggestions for camping areas in State parks suitable for a 30ft 5th wheel. Full service would be nice but not necessary. Oh and what would the weather be like.

We spend a couple of months or more a year camping on the Oregon Coast.
Take your pick..any and all of the Oregon State Parks are excellent and all are in prime locations.
Weather in November?...keep the coffee pot going and wear your Gortex underwear.

You will have no trouble taking your pick of sites in November.

Any of the OSP are great. All will offer water and electricity, some will have sewer as well. As for the weather, expect cold, and lots of wind and rain. What part of the coast do you want to visit? We are camp hosts for OSP so I have reams of information on all of the parks. If you are looking at the entire coast, I would suggest you start your excursion at Ft Stevens. Plan two days minimum to explore the area. Next maybe Nehalem Bay, then Beverley Beach or South Beach. From there there are still dozens of great parks all the way south.

Oregon State Parks are some of the best in the country - most will accommodate a TT or 5er -

Set yourself up for a great time - that run along the coast is beautiful. We did November and you'll see a different coast than othe seasons - wind, high waves, rain but a unique experience and I'd do it again in a hot minute despite the weather issues. We just worked around it and saw some STUNNING seascapes during the storms.

You'll have no problem with ANY of the state parks on the OR coast. We're a 40-foot MH plus toad and have been to many of them (we've camped at Ft. Stevens, Beverly Beach, G.Washbourne, Bullards Beach, Cape Blanco) -> ALL are fabulous. In Nov weather will be cold, windy and rainy, but you might get nice days too. Should have no issues getting a spot.

We've been to most of the state parks along the coast but this summer we discovered Harris Beach State Park near Brookings OR. Great park (no sewer but cable) nice little town and if you can get site A-26, C-1 or 3 (probably some others) you'll have a great view overlooking the Pacific.

We've tried to get those view spots at various times during the year, I think we would have better luck playing the Powerball lottery. But in november you may have a better chance.

Thanks to all who provided valuable information on State Parks along the Oregon coast. Weather would play a roll in the length of time we stay on the ocean thus we may opt to travel straight to Death Valley as that is one of our "warm" destinations this coming fall/winter. Obviously, late summer or early fall would be a preferred departure time to explore the Oregon coastal areas, however looks like this will have to wait until this time, next year.

Add to the list for S. OR, Humbug St. PK. Spent three days there this past June. You can walk to the beach.
