Living in fifth wheel, parked next to our house. Discovered we have a lot of stuff, lots of trips to the storage facility. Still trying to figure out exactly what we need and what we can do without. Had 4 days of yard sales and sold lots of stuff we did not need. Still might have to have another one.

We bought our TV & FW....then put the basics in, the stuff we needed, the stuff we thought we needed, the stuff we thought we might need and the stuff we wanted to keep.
Call the kids, family & friends..come get what you want.
Then we had an estate sale and sold everything left.......everything.
Lived in the FW along side house until escrow closed....got rid of some stuff.
Then hit the road FT........and 6 mos. later got rid of anything we hadn't used in the past 6 mos. Then did that again 6 mos. later.
That was 5 yrs. ago....we have a standing rule.
Anything new comes on-board.....something has to go. Otherwise the FW will get full of 'stuff'. Stuff that really just isn't needed.
Life is so simple and uncluttered..........ahhhhhh

We have a similar rule; something goes in, something must go out. I think the key "ah ha" moment for us was realizing that this is our home and we live in it. We are not just going camping for the annual summer week out. We see a lot of people come into camps and set up everything for the week; get the bikes out, set up the camp fire, outside cooking, etc. They are here for their week and squeeze every moment out of the allotted time they have. It's great! But if you looked at our camp, you might not see all the stuff set up. This is not to say we don't have our toys with us (probably have to many with us!). But again, this is our home so we don't have all the camping stuff with us that we might have for the 'summer vacation'.

X2
Simple formula ...Cost of Storage X Duration = Less Than the Cost of Replacent. If you CANNOT say this then your doing it wrong. It's just stuff and stuff can be replaced with new stuff.
We were in the same house for 36 years. It was brutal but when we really had a look at things we ended up with the china, silverware and pictures.
Don't rely on family for help....they collect their own stuff and really don't want yours.
Daunting at the time but when it is over it is really quite liberating.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

We keep paring down also. I had a bunch of dishes and bowls and they all went out last week and into the Goodwill pile.

We are approaching our first year anniversary of fulltiming. We've already decided we kept too much stuff (mostly clothes). My wife told me when we left our winter home, that I was taking too many clothes. She was right (hope she doesn't read this). Goodwill here I come.
We are now living by the "Six Month Rule" as previously mentioned.

We sold our house and went full time almost 2 months ago now. We sold what I thought was a TON of stuff yet we still have a large storage unit filled. Only because we agreed to be on the road a year and then re evaluate. If we stay out we will sell more stuff off. If we come off the road then we have things that we most certainly would not spend the money on again with our lowered income.
I think the only we packed to much of in the MH is cloths. But I'm still working for 3 more months and then my work shirts and some pants can go away and moke more room.
And our med cabinet,,, well thats another story!! I don't think we need all that stuff LOL!!!
