Do not trust the color of the wires. Instead, look at the diagram of the connector and count from that to identify pins. Using a voltmeter, verify that there is battery voltage between pins 4 and 1 on the tow vehicle connector when the engine is running. If there isn't the problem is with the truck wiring. If there is, the problem is with the trailer wiring.

To clarify, I let the truck running for about 15min, but didn't seem to get any power in the TT. I'll use the volt-meter to test the plug. Sounds like I should get power.
Is there a battery installed in th TT? If not why not?

You have to install the fuse under the hood as already mentioned to get power back to the 7 pin. Had to do the same on my Chevy

we all know this. The Op hasn't come back to see if the test light showed power or not on the 12V pin.
That is the first step

All, I will report later in the week, as my volt meter is at the TT.
I suspect it's the fuse. The truck did have a 4pin installed prior to the 7 pin being installed, but looking at the diagrams, that didn't actually have power. I understand I need to rely on diagram, and not the colors. I've never actually pulled anything yet, as my TT was delivered to the lot.
Don't have a brake controller, and my hinge is rusted in.. but that may become a whole other thread later.
Thanks Forum.

There is no power like many of you suspected.
You are going to need to edit your forum preferences in order to see the images (if you can't see them)

I took pictures of my fuse box, and hope someone can help to determine which one should be plugged in. Nothing caught my attention in fuse list.

This looks like the one under the dash. Did you find the one under the hood?
It could be post A.
