ok.. let's try this again.. these are the fuses under the hood... still can't make out which one is missing for the 12v (battery) pin to work.
You are going to need to edit your forum preferences in order to see the images (if you can't see them)
Nothing caught my attention in fuse list.

It should be either A or B. Fuses are in both.
I remember some the wire was not terminated on the stud. Look below the posts for a loose wire.

By A or B you mean Aux A or Aux B?
Fuse could also be dead. I'll check fuses and voltage.
I will also call the people that installed the 7pin, if I am unsuccessful in finding a dead fuse or a loose wire, as that was only a few mo ago.

i know they can hide them loose wires pretty good, should be one there somewhere!

To the OP. Have you checked to see if there is a wire connected to pin #4 on the truck 7 way? It may be possible who ever installed the 7 way did not provide for a battery charge wire. In 1998 which I believe we were told is the year of your truck not all of them had trailer wiring for brakes and the battery charge wire. It was an option in those years.
