Who is the manufacturer of your radio? Many Forest River RVs use Concertone systems but without knowing what yours has it's kind of hard to help.

Duro brand? Or Concertone? I'm pretty sure that "DURO" is Chinese for "really, really cheap" and "Concertone" is slang for what's in your black tank.

Yank it out then toss it on the ground then beat it to tar with a 20lb sledge then when it is no longer recognizable install a aftermarket car stereo and never look back at that sorry excuse for a stereo.
Car stereos are much, much better in quality including reliability than any RV stereo and you can find them with many upgraded features like USB ports, MP3 file playing, Sat radio, HD radio and so on. The one feature you might not find is surround sound but many do offer subwoofer outputs if you just have to make things shake.

Look on the faceplate of the radio for a very small hole, labeled reset. Some radios have them, some don't. If you have it, press in for 10 seconds, If you don't, check to make sure all wiring connections at rear are secure. If all else fails, time to buy a new unit.

Mine is a touch audio. This is our second year and it broke a month or so ago. When I touch it, it turns on, when I remove my finger, it turns off. It does still work with the remote tho. Sigh. I have read that people are replacing them with a Jensen, but I don't know which model.
Have you checked out the forest river forum?

Until you spend about $50k on an RV, you get a $25 special no name radio.
You can buy significantly higher quality car/mobile DVD player radio tuners for under $300 with USB interface, Apple charging and control, and Bluetooth streaming. Check out the Pioneer AVH-P2400BT for example. Connect the 4 inside speakers to front channel and the outside speakers to the rear and use fade to control where you want the sound.

I'm on my fourth set. That's four in four years. The first two were Conerstone and the last two were Jensen. I don't understand why they don't use auto quality products. I have never had to replace one in an automobile.

Check your unit. If it is a Concertone, then it is prolly out for the count. They were notorious for problems. If it's under warranty, take it back to the dealer. They know all about them. The newer models, which seem to be working hands down better are the Genesis model. You can do a google search and download the manual for both. Good luck!
