We have a Canon MG5200 series in the MH and the house. It's wireless and works great. We had 2 HP printers that died within a year and will never buy HP again. We have a small drawer we keep the one in the MH in, and the HP just fit. But after 2 dead we threw in the towel.

We have a HP Officejet 4500 wireless printer that we use for laptop use. It has scanner and FAX also. Several yrs old, no problems.

Small is in the eye of the beholder. I have an HP Deskjet that serves my purposes but some might consider it bulky. If I didn't need to copy and scan sometimes, I might look for one of the ultra portables.

I bought wireless printer, loaded the software into my computer and could never get it to work. Went back to the store and was told I needed to buy a router. Now why did they not say that on the box? With the cost of a router and the cost of the printer I was basically out the money because I got rid of a wired printer that I had in there. My advice is do lots of home work first....

If you want a small all in one printer, look at the Epson Stylus NX430.
Works very well at home and on the road.

I use the HP photosmart C7280 all-in-one... It is alittle on the larger size but works great. I like it because of the 6 different color cartridges it uses... Nice color photos... Also makes up 4X6 post card size color photos as well for friends at the camp sites... Mine is about five years old now... Works great with my camera for instant color prints.

YES - I even use this in my off-road POPUP shown here...

Sample photos from google images

I need to look for one that will handle 11x17 paper since I do alot of drawings etc...

My Posts are IMHO based on my experiences - PM me

What are you planning on printing? There are small photo printers for 4x6 photo pater (I have one, it is about the size of a shoe, 4 inches tall). Inkjets for general printing, photo printers for photos, and general printing (the photo printers do a cleaner job, but the colors are more expensive). Laser printers (if you need / want high speed). The bigger ones can duplex (print both sides without YOU having to reload the paper upside down), and finally there are the all in ones, scan, print, fax, and copy. They are largest (of each type).
Whatever you get (other then a laser) I would get a small ups to plug it into, RV parks are not the most stable power - voltage lags and spikes from AC units and such. The only reason for leaving the laser out is a ups large enough to run the fuser (the heating element in the laser printer what melts the toner into the printer) is going to be the same size or larger then the printer itself.

Be careful with this one. My daughter is on her second one and still can't get it to print on premium photo paper.

I have been looking for a 4 x 6 printer to print the photos that I take while we are camping....
