I have a 1994 Coachhouse Class'b' and I have a leak in either the Black and/or Gray water valves, I believe they are the originals.
The current bayonnet drain cab extends about 1" beyond & underneath the running board on the drivers side. My concern is the Valterra Twist On would extend another 4 1/2" to 5" beyond the current cap, not to mention that the whole valve system would be exposed.
Has anyone done what I'm thinking of doing? or Does anyone see a problem or have any suggestions with what I want to do?
Thanks in Advance

John,
I'm sorry, I guess i wasn't clear enough. I want to put on the Valterra Twist-On Valve in place of the current bayonnet cap but concerned about it extending furthe out from the side..

Frank In that case why don't you replace the valves?

I use Twist on solution for black water leak by issue, best $25 quick solution I can find, but it is parallel with the side, so no "stick out" issue.

Frank,
If changing the valve(s) is a no go, then you might consider either a 45 or 90 degree elbow at the bayonet before the Valterra and the cap after the Valterra.
The cap facing straight down would be my choice as a container could be placed under it, to collect seepage, when you are ready to attach the hose.
Just a thought

I'd change the valves, not that hard to do.
